Jon Ronson’s novel, The Men Who Stare At Goats, has finally been made into a movie. This comedy film has a lot of big names in it and looks like a pretty good movie. The plot is very interesting considering it talks about a subject you never hear too much, psychics. Right now it’s hard to tell what the connection is with the men and goats but I believe it has something to do with the men’s psychic abilities. The novel accompanied a three-part series, Crazy Rulers of the World, on a Channel in Britain, Channel 4. The series discusses “Psychic Soldiers” and the Psychological Operations

The film follows a reporter, Bob Wilton (Ewan McGregor), who stumbles into the story of a lifetime when he meets a special forces agent, Lyn Cassady (George Clooney). As they embark on a new mission, Lyn reveals his twenty-year involvement in this top secret, psychic military unit and shares details of their activities, each more bizarre than the last (including staring at goats in order to kill them telepathically).

I will probably watch this movie considering it has a great cast and has an interesting plot to it but if you would not enjoy watching it that’s OK, there are a lot of new movies coming out for your enjoyment =) This movie is due for release in the US on November 6, 2009. So Stay tuned!

Man, death never seems to give people a break. Even when they have premonitions, escape their death, and walk out unharmed. No, it has to kill them. Yes folks, I’m talking about Final Destination. This time it’s not on a plane or a huge car accident or at a roller coaster ride… it’s at a NASCAR event. What a way to horrify those NASCAR fans out there.

Well, death can happen anywhere and if you try to escape it… it will come after you. If your into the Final Destination movie/gory movies/thrillers/ horror films than you should either check out this trailer to see if you like it or just go watch the movie. Nine: New Movie Musical

A trailer for a new movie, Nine, has come out on May 14th 2009. This American Movie Musical is directed by Rob Marshall. It is based off on Arthur Kopit’s book which was derived from an Italian Play by Mario Fratti which was inspired by Federico Fellini’s autobiographical film 8?. The movie is about a famous film director, Guido Contini who at the age of forty, struggles to find any harmony or peace in his professional and personal life. Throughout the movie he is forced to deal with the dramatic relationships of his wife, his mistress, his muse, his agent, and his own mother. This movie contains a great cast with Academy Award winners Daniel Day-Lewis, Nicole Kidman, Marion Cotillard, Pen?lope Cruz, Judi Dench, and Sophia Loren with Kate Hudson and Stacy Ferguson in supporting roles. The release date for this movie is scheduled for November 25, 2009. If you like musical movies like Mamma Mia, Chicago and Rent than I guarantee you will enjoy this movie. As you can see in the trailer, this movie is filled with a lot of dancing, singing, and great actors and actresses. So watch the trailer and see what you think!
