Born February 24, 1994, Alex Terraciano evolved into the American hip-hop/pop artist know as Glare Novice. Glare arrived prematurely, only weighing 2 pounds 6 ounces, and was not allowed to leave the hospital for one month. At one point during his hospital stay he stopped breathing and almost died and had a team of Doctors and nurses working on him to bring him back. They then labeled him the “miracle baby” and were amazed that he lived. Joanna, his mother, even recalls One nurse telling her that he was “destined to do great things because he had survived that terrible time.”

Growing up Glare always loved music. He would sit next to his grandfather, Grand Maisonet, and make up songs while playing the piano for hours. Grand was a songwriter and musician and he would take Glare with him when he performed.

Age 15 is when he noticed he had an amazing ability to make up lyrics, he wrote his first original song, “Garden State”!

At first, Glare started out by performing at open mics with a small dj machine as his background music. As Glare got better, he moved on to bigger better performances. Glare has performed at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park New Jersey, Jam Out Loud at Rutgers University, and a world class polo event in Colts Neck New Jersey. He also has performed in front of Sony, Ruff Ryder, and Atlantic Record execs at Sullivan Hall in New York City and received rave reviews.

When asked what does Glare Novice mean he simply states “I have been shining since the beginning, and everything I do will be fresh!”

He released his first mixtape, “One Track Mine,” containg 15 original songs, and received high marks and support from a wide variety of blogs and websites, and will be releasing his second mixtape, “See Beyond The Glare” this Spring of 2012 with his 1st single ” All The Time” to be available on I-Tunes in April. Glare has Recorded with big names such as Big Jerm and Edan at IDLabs in Pittsburgh responsible for the sound of both Mac Miller and Wiz Khalifa, as well as with Vibe.com’s resident DJ Sweets at World War 3 studios in NJ to name a few.
