Williams is along and lean post that runs the floor extremely well. He displayed good hands. Williams is a decent rebounder but should be better based on his length and athletic ability. He rebounded better offensively than defensively and had a couple nice put backs. He is getting offers and interest from just about everyone. The real question is where will the top player from Michigan in 2011 go? We found out some of his potential suitors.

What is your current college list? Why do you have so many on your list? Is there a favorite? Arkansas, USC, Michigan, Michigan State, Miami, Ohio State, Auburn, Florida, Arizona, Cincinatti, Depaul, UConn, Purdue, Providence, Notre Dame, Minnesotta, South Florida, Temple, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Wake Forest, Illinois, Marquette, Georgetown, Kentucky, Texas, UCLA, and Oregon State. Georgetown, Kentucky, Texas, UCLA, and Oregon State have not offered, however. I haven’t took time to narrow my list down yet. I’m not sure when I’ll do that so that list will remain like this until further notice. And I don’t have any favorites yet.

What are you looking for in a school? I’m looking for a school that would develop me more and help me pursue my goals of going pro. I’m also looking for a coach I can really trust. And I’m also looking for a school that’s just a winning program.

How has the season been like? Would you say ‘you are  a part of the best team in Michigan’? The season is going good so far. Yes, I’d say were the best team in Michigan.

How were your visits? Which schools have you visited so far? I’ve been to Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Miami, Kentucky, Cincinatti and they all went well, so far.

When do you plan on making your commitment? I will probably commit late in my senior year.

If you were a scout, how would you judge your game? I would say I am a tough all around post player who scores well around tha basket, gets it done done on both ends of the floor. Just a hard nose competitor.

Do Michigan & Michigan State have an advantage over the other schools since you are from Michigan? No they really don’t have an advantage over anyone. They have the same advantage as any other school that’s real far out as compared to a school that’s real close.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? By then, hopefully in the NBA.

We want to thank Amir Williams for the interview and wish him the best of luck with the rest of the season.
