Get ready everyone! Superbowl XLIV is just eleven days away! Start planning your football parties or even get tickets, but this will be a good game. The Indianapolis Colts are playing the New Orleans Saints in South Florida at Sun Life Stadium. It will be at six p.m. on February 7. So, who will you root for? Will you root for the Colts who have a solid record of 14-2 lead by Peyton Manning? Peyton was voted as the #1 football player in 2009 by The Sporting News. That is an impressive feat. He’s also won countless other awards like the records for consecutive seasons with over 4,000 passing yards and the most total seasons with 4,000 plus passing yards in a career. Manning ranks as fourth all-time behind Steve Young, Phillip Rivers, and Tony Romo. As we can see, he’s a well-accomplished player. Or will you root for the Saints who hold a record of 13-3? Quarterback Drew Brees also has accomplishments. He was named the NFL’s Comeback Player of the Year in 2004 and the Offensive Player of the Year in 2008. He definitely has his work cut out for him but he’s gotten his team this far and there’s no doubt he can take the southern team all the way. Don’t forget the Half-Time Show! The Who’s performance will be broadcasted live from CBS. They’ll be playing the great songs, Baba O’Riley, Pinball Wizard, Tommy, Who Are You, and Won’t Get Fooled Again. It’ll be quite a show that you do not want to miss. All in all, it will be a night to remember and one you can’t miss. Good luck to both teams and hopefully you win your fantasy football pick!
