Boxofmess Artist of the Week- Jessie James
The presented artist for this week on boxofmess.com is the pop/country singer and MTV Artist of the Week, Jessie James. This girl started from the bottom with demos and got her music out through sites such as myspace. President of Mercury Records, David Massey brought her music to the attention of Def Jam chairman L.A. Reid. Since than Jessie James has taken off and hasn’t stopped yet. Her first single, Wanted, was released in April 12th 2009, her song Blue Jeans was featured on the Movie, Confessions of a Shopaholic’s soundtrack, and she is doing two tours (Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009 and Full Moon Crazy Tour).
Personally My favorite song of hers is I Look So Good (Without You) but her new album, Jessie James, contains many songs with and up-beat country tune with a hint of pop.

Jessie James is getting out their in the music business and is becoming well known. She has already been #23 on the U.S. Billboard 200. I look forward to seeing what else this girl can do in the future and hope that her sophomore album will be just as good as this one.
