Band Geek Comes Out On Top!

Whoever said that band geeks couldn’t fight? Whoever said they could use their instruments as weapons? A 17-year-old girl from Quartz Hill, California?was walking to school April, 24th when two men approached her from behind, tried to grab her coat and demanded money.

The girl used her marching band baton to beat back two would-be muggers. Instead of getting money, one got a punch in the nose and the other a kick to the groin. Finally she beat them with her band baton until she fleed the scene unharmed.

The Police Officer doing the investigation of this later said, “The moral to this story is don’t mess with the marching band girls, or you just might get what you deserve. Final score: marching band 2, thugs 0.”

Indeed that is the truth. On this day, the Marching Band reigns supreme!
