Lady Knights Are Still Elite

Unfortunately, the Rutgers Lady Knights faced a disappointing but close loss (67-61) Rutgers teammates leaving the court after lossing to Purdue in the Sweet 16. ?to Purdue last night in the Sweet 16 of the Women’s NCAA. Rutgers head coach, C. Vivian Stringer, has been able bring the Lady Knights to the Final 4 of the NCAA tournament twice out of her fourteen years coaching at Rutgers. Many people thought this was going to be her third time bring them so far into the tournament but to our surprised it is not. The Lady Knights being such a young team with holding only two seniors in the 2008-2009 season shows that if the were able to come so far this season they will go even farther next season. If Prince continues to improve, the way she has been since she started playing for Rutgers the Lady Knights are garunteed an unbelievable 2009-2010 season. So stay on the look out for Rutgers next year.
